Museum

The Phoebe Apperson Hearst Museum of Anthropology is located in Kroeber Hall. The exhibition hall is open Wednesdays through Saturdays 10:00-4:30, and Sundays 12:00-4:00. Admission is free. The current exhibitions are Native California Cultures, and From the Maker's Hand: Selections from the Permanent Collections (Africa, Southwestern US, Ancient Mediterranean, Egypt, and Peru). The collections storage area is open for research on weekdays only. Anyone wishing to visit the collections must make arrangements well in advance; see the collections policies.
