membership information

The Institute recognizes four categories of membership:

• Active Members
  

  -	hold a Ph.D. in the field of Andean studies, or have made distinguished contributions to the field and shown an interest in the Institute’s activities.
  -	vote, pay dues, and receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Associate Members
  

  -	partners of active members.
  -	vote, do not pay dues, do not receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Corresponding Members
  

  -	reside primarily in Latin America.
  -	do not vote or pay dues, do receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Honorary Members
  

  -	awarded in recognition of distinguished services to Andean studies over a long period.
  -	vote, do not pay dues, do receive Ñawpa Pacha.

New members are nominated by members and elected by the Directors. Dues include a subscription to Ñawpa Pacha. They are not tax deductable as donations, but may be a business expense. Dues may be paid by check, or online by credit card through PayPal, below.
