Membership Types:

  • IAS member:  Holds a Ph.D., Lic., or other terminal degree related to Andean studies, has made distinguished contributions to the field, and has shown an interest in IAS activities. Members who have paid their annual dues vote in IAS elections, receive Ñawpa Pacha, and may hold IAS leadership positions.
  • Student affiliate: Enrolled in a M.A., Ph.D., Lic., or equivalent post-baccalaureate program, receive Ñawpa Pacha.
  • Friend of the IAS: those with avocational interests in the field, archaeologists who work elsewhere in the world and in non-academic roles in South America, educators, and others, may pay to receive Ñawpa Pacha.

Ñawpa Pacha access options:  

  • NP Online: digital access to Ñawpa Pacha is included in Membership Dues for IAS Members and Student Affiliates; Friends of the IAS may purchase NP online access for $30.
  • NP Print & Online: For a single fee of $75 (includes U.S. and international shipping), IAS members, Student affiliates, and Friends of the IAS can opt to receive both digital access and print copies.
