membership information

The Institute recognizes four categories of membership:

• Active Members
  

  -	hold a Ph.D. in the field of Andean studies, or have made distinguished contributions to the field and shown an interest in the Institute’s activities.
  -	vote, pay dues, and receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Associate Members
  

  -	partners of active members.
  -	vote, do not pay dues, do not receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Corresponding Members
  

  -	reside outside the U.S.A. and Canada, primarily in Latin America.
  -	do not vote or pay dues, do receive Ñawpa Pacha.

• Honorary Members
  

  -	awarded in recognition of distinguished services to Andean studies over a long period.
  -	vote, do not pay dues, do receive Ñawpa Pacha.

New members are nominated by members and elected by the Board of Directors. Dues include the subscription to Ñawpa Pacha, and are not tax deductable. Dues may be paid by check, or online by credit card through PayPal, below.
