We have made arrangements with two hotels close to Wurster Hall (see map) for special meeting rates. We strongly recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible.

The Durant Hotel, 2600 Durant Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704 has reduced meeting rates of $129 for a queen room and $159 for a double room, plus a portage fee of $2 in and $2 out of the hotel. A block of rooms is being held until December 8, 2010. Mention the Institute of Andean Studies when you make your reservations. Overnight parking for hotel guests costs $20.00 per vehicle, per night. The Bancroft Hotel, 2680 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94704, is offering a University rate for conference attendees. The $129, plus tax, rate is for a single room. The Beau Sky Hotel, 2520 Durant Ave., Berkeley, CA 94704, is planning a remodeling project around the time of the meeting, and may not be open. Please contact them at least a month before the meeting. (800) 990-2328 or (510) 540-7688.
